COOKER HOOD SUCTION IS WEAK 

Do you constantly feel like your cooker hood is making excessive noise but not actually extracting fumes efficiently in your kitchen? 

You can check your cooker hood suction by placing a kitchen towel/napkin under your cooker hood filte. If the cooker hood is unable to hold the napkin most likely it isn’t working as efficiently as it should be and most likely the motor need servicing.

More often it is the built up grease preventing the cooker hood for performing efficiently. It’s always good to check your carbon/charcoal filter whether the air is efficiently pulled through, if your vent is blocked or the slats have become locked on the outside, all of which should be fixed or replaced.
