But before cleaning the washer drum, clean and wipe the gasket/rubber with white vinegar with a damp cloth. The rubber gasket and sealer, accumulates water, hair, scum and detergent. So is a good practice to leave the washing machine door open after a wish to let the water vaporise. Second step: Set the washer to the highest level and the hottest water temperature.Add two cups of white vinegar into the detergent dispenser. Run it through a complete cycle at maximum temperature.
